Dear Lumion user,
Lumion Service Pack 2 Build 8 is now available for download in the Customer Area.
Download and unpack the .ZIP file in a temporary directory, and run the setup file.
You can keep older versions of Lumion installed without problems.
We recommend that you create a backup of your Library and Scene files before using the new build (they are located in the Documents/Lumion/Scenes & Library folders).
About Service Pack 2 Build 8
This is a maintenance release which includes a number of bug fixes and a couple of new features:
If you turn on Settings -> "Show Frames per Second", you can now see the position of objects that you are moving in the upper right corner.
The world origin (0,0,0) is now displayed as red/green/blue lines when Settings -> "Show Frames per Second" is turned on.
The attached "ChangeList.txt" contains the full list of changes and bug fixes.

Bug fixes:
- SpeedTree no longer displays the 8964 pop-up message in certain situations.
- The top row of pixels of Clip type -> Image in Photo mode is now correct.
- Typing in "Focal Length" values manually in Movie mode no longer switches to saved camera views.
- The "Threshold" slider in the "Lensflare" effect can be animated again.
- The camera no longer gets stuck after selecting aligned objects.
- It is now possible to add materials to an imported object in scenes with more than 4500 objects.
- Sun Position Effect -> Sun Height -> Next Keyframe no longer switches the camera view to the next clip.
- Trees/plants are now reflected in glass and reflective materials.
- IMG sequence -> .TGAs are no longer saved as .JPGs
- Shadows from animated people are now rendered in sync.
- Slower clip speeds are rendered correctly again.
- Fog is now rendered behind glass.
Added or changed:
- If you turn on Settings -> "Show Frames per Second", you can now see the position of objects that you are moving.
- The world origin (0,0,0) is now displayed when Settings -> "Show Frames per Second" is turned on.
- The "Shadow range" effect is now capped at 2.0 instead of 1.0.
- Place object mode -> (SHIFT) + Left-click (Place a new object with +/-0 to 50% random scale) has now been changed to (Z) + Left-click.
